Jacquelyn Maier is the director of Special Education for the Mount Vernon and North Posey School Districts.  She has 6 years of administration experience and 22 years of teaching experience ranging from the elementary to high school level in the area of Special education.  As a teacher, she enjoyed the challenges of collaboration and differentiation.  Mrs. Maier believes that all children deserve a valuable and well-delivered education, focused on, and geared toward their immediate and future needs. She believes that all students are capable of achieving high expectations when there is a strong partnership among parents, teachers, administrators, and other members of the community.  It is her goal that students will achieve their full potential as independent and successful adults.
