The iPad should be accessible for all students.  This session will focus on the Universal Design for Learning technologies built into the iPad that help make it an indispensable tool for providing access to all students. You will learn about accessibility features such as text to speech, screen reader, screen magnification, switch access and more.  There are many features that are part of the operating system that can be individualized, customized and modified for the diverse learner, plus all students can benefit from these features.  This session will also provide information on how to set up switch access and demonstrate various switch interfaces and switches as well as iPad mounts.
