6th grade teacher, Julie Kissinger, and Director of Information Systems will talk about how they implemented MINECRAFT EDU into the classroom.  Minecraft EDU is a non-violent educational version of the hit game, Minecraft.  Julie and Bill will talk about our implementation from start to finish and more importantly- how to teach with it!

Not a big of fan of Minecraft?  Well, your students probably are!  Did you know there is a special version of Minecraft just for schools called Minecraft EDU? Come join us and learn how to implement and teach with Minecraft EDU to engage and promote collaboration in your classroom!

William Stein is the Director of Technology for the Mt. Vernon School District in Mt. Vernon, IN.  He is a sitting board member with the Hoosier Educational Computer Coordinators organization and the past president and current member of the Indiana Partnershare Consortium.  Mr. Stein has over 24 years’ experience with using technology in an educational environment to promote student learning.
